LEGO Hero Factory MOC: Leggiere 2.0

In the Hero Factory, engineers were trying to develop a new type of hero that is light, agile, and can do tasks that require optimum speed. The result was Hero Factory's first ultralight hero- Leggiere 2.0.

Leggiere has very little armor for maximum speed and agility. His core and skeleton are slightly compacted to also reduce weight. Third, his feet were also built with lightness in mind. Equipped with twin hooks, Leggiere is any slow-moving villain's worst nightmare.

Fun facts:

• The word "Leggiere" is the Italian word for skinny.
• Leggiere's design paved way for a series of Ultralight heroes in the 3.0 and even v.4 series. That series will be shown later. Currently, it will include about 20-30 different heroes.
• Even though he has a Breakout core, he is still a 2.0 hero.

More MOCs to come!

Update about Mission:Drones...

Hi all!

I've recently noticed that I haven't posted so much on Mission: Drones! lately.  In fact, the last post was on December 19, 2011. The reason for this is that we are still writing the story, and are right now about 3/4 of the way done. A new chapter will be posted on the Mission:Drones! site soon!

Here's a hint: The next chapter involves a few of LEGOJANG's MOCs.

Nocturnus addresses the Sempax

After seeing LEGOJANG's videos "Specter addresses the Sempax" and "Onyx addresses the Sempax", I decided to make a video in a similar fashion with our own stealthy hero, Nocturnus.

My inspiration for this is the great MOCist LEGOJANG.

Lego Hero Factory MOC: Trooper v4

The latest Hero Factory MOC I've made is Trooper v4.

Trooper is a rule-breaker who will do anything it takes to defeat his enemies. The Hero Factory has strict regulations that prohibit the use of corrupted Quaza- yet Trooper uses two in his energy crossbow. The Quaza powers the blaster and gives it far better accuracy.  Another rule that Trooper broke is the use of Hero Recon Team technology. Despite the rules, he has a villain helmet to go undercover and infiltrate compounds.

Interesting facts:

• Yes. Trooper was made in LDD Extended. I am planning to make a real-life version using spray-paints.
• Trooper is partially based on LEGOJANG's MOC, Boravus 3.0.
• Despite wearing XPlode's mask, he is not going undercover as him.

That's all for now! New MOCs are yet to come!

Hero Factory summer sets appear at Nuremberg Toy Fair

Here are some pictures of the Hero Factory summer 2012 sets as they appeared at the Nuremberg Toy Fair.

Things to note:

• SXL has a cool new skeleton build
• Speeda Demon has a new lightning piece.
• Speeda Demon and SXL make an awesome combiner.
• Stringer has a trans-blue chestplate.
• Nex has a helmet which is essentially a duplicate of the 2.0 helmet, but made to fit on a Glatorian head.
• Voltix's head is gunmetal, not silver.
• XT4 has a cool new laser weapon. The head is actually slightly rectangular.
• Red Savage Planet claws.
• Core Hunter uses the epaulet design as seen in one of our 3.0 MOCs.
• Black Savage Planet paws.
• Turns out Bulk did have a black MTIS.
• Stringer has a silver MTIS.
• Trans-blue armor on SXL.
• Core Hunter has a head with 4 eyes that look like goggles.

Now, here's the pics!

EDIT 2/15/2012: A YouTube member uploaded a character spot video for Stringer v.4.  At the end of the video, a picture of the final packaging was shown. Take a look!

Lego Hero Factory MOC: Alternate Universe Surge

In the Hero Factory "Rise Of The Rookies" DVD, Surge worries that he has a flaw and will someday become evil. Well, what if he actually DID have that flaw and WAS evil? Well, here's the answer.

The alternate universe Surge is basically Surge with a new, "evil" color scheme. His weapons still function normally, and so does his laser-proof armor, but the only thing that's changed is the circuitry near his "brain" which is altered slightly so he is working for evil.

The "anti-Surge" also is very antisocial, preferring not to work for anyone except himself.

Well, that's all for Anti-Surge! More MOCs to come!
